Renault Alpine Sports Car Debut Postponed
Paris latest - generation sports car Renault Alpine had a little setback . Sports car developed by Renault and Caterham debut was postponed because no design changes .The car should debut in early 2014, is reportedly to be delayed because the design is still not comfortable in the eyes of consumers .
This delays purely because of the design of cars and not the transmission or engine problems . Renault continues to seek out unique, stylish design for the new car .
Reported by Autocar , Friday ( 02/14/2014 ) Renault and Caterham even reported to have ' creative tension ' , their relationship is hot because this design problem .
" Renault does not comment on rumors or models in the future . However we can say that at Renault , there is a standard procedure for introducing a future car on the consumer . As a result , we make some evaluation of the design , this is normal in any design new products , "wrote Renault .
Previously Alpine prepared to compete with the pace of the Alfa Romeo 4C sports car and Porsche Cayman . The new car will carry a 2.0- liter turbocharged 4 -cylinder engine capable of spraying power up to 280 hp .
